New Warriors Orochi 4’s New Characters Odin and Ares Shine in New Trailers and Screenshots

Today Koei Tecmo released a new batch of assets of Warriors Orochi 4 following yesterday’s reveal on Weekly Famitsu.

The focus is on the newly-revealed characters Ares and Odin, and we get to see them both in the flashy action you expect from the Olympian god of war and the father of the Norse gods.

Ares is convinced that humans should be strictly controlled, and he is dissatisfied towards his father Zeus’ attitude, which is friendly towards humanity.

While it was predicted that the world would be destroyed by Ragnarok, the war of the Gods, Odin changed that fate by gaining power and wisdom.

We also get to see more about the game’s progression system in the gallery. Besides the pure increase in power when a character levels up, new skills can be unlocked by using skill points. Weapons can be given attributes like elemental attacks by using materials in dedicated slots. It’s also possible to add new slots. All weapons acquired in battle can be sold and disassembled to gain materials to upgrade other weapons.

Enhancing your base also lets you improve its features and unlock bonuses that will apply to all your characters. Last, but not least, you can send them to train in order to grow them up. By improving your base you can unlock more training slots and training locations. Characters that are sent to train will also bring back precious loot.

If you want to see more, you can also enjoy the reveal of the previous character Perseustwo more recent trailers showing Zeus and Athena, and some more gameplay from Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong.
