Fortnite Season 7 is here, grab your scarf.
The next season for Fortnite has arrived after being teased earlier this week and it’s bringing a chilly feel to the game. The world in Fortnite Season 7 is now covered in snow and there are even planes in the skies.
The announce trailer that is available to watch below introduces us to Season 7 through a few characters watching a Christmassy stop-motion program on an old analog TV. A distant rumbling reveals a large snowy iceberg approaching the cabin, and then there appears Santa Claus, Father Christmas, Kris Kringle, or whatever your variation of the winter legend is. He’s kitted out, ready for action alongside some snowmen soldiers, and then from behind him, a formation of planes approaches.
Fortnite Season 7 will introduce new areas for players to battle, with zip lines coming in handy to get from high terrain to the ground quickly and safely. Planes can be found in the new Frosty Flights location and Expedition outposts. Along with those will be secrets to discover around the world.
Fortnite Season 7 will gain an additional two weeks of being live due to the Winter holidays meaning that it’ll end on February 28. However, Fortnite will continue to be updated bringing new challenges and items to the game.
The new Battle Pass will be introducing over 100 new items and still costs 950 V-Bucks. Players with the Battle Pass will recieve the new Zenith and Lynx progressive outfits instantly when the pass is purchased. These will also be available to level up and unlock new styles for them. Another introduction is Wraps, allowing players to decorate their weapons and vehicles. On top of all that, Battle Pass owners will gain early access to Fortnite Creative that was officially announced yesterday. You can find the Battle Pass video below.
Fortnite Season 7 is available now and the title is available as an early access title for PC, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
