Today Xseed Games announced that Fate/EXTELLA Link will be released in the west in the first quarter of 2019.
The game will come for PS4 and PS Vita. Yes. You heard it correctly. We’re getting the PS Vita version, even if that one is digital only.
The game adds ten new servants to the roster of the first Fate/EXTELLA, while gameplay and graphics have been improved. Below you can read an official list of features.
- Combatants from Across the Fate Universes Join the Fray–- In addition to the 16 original Servants from Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star, 10 characters from other Fate series will enter battle as playable Servants, including Astolfo, Scáthach, and Francis Drake
- Hunker Down in Base Camp–- Players can move freely around their army’s base camp—a medieval cathedral raised into the sky—and interact with their Servants to build meaningful bonds.
- Polished Graphics and Battle Mechanics–- Players can experience refined combat mechanics and graphics through the game.
The PS4 version will be both physical and digital for $49.99, while the digital-only PS Vita version will cost $39.99.
PS4 will also geta a limited edition titled Fleeting Glory Edition. It’ll cost $79.99 and it’ll include a soundtrack CD, a pack of 10 collectible 3” by 5” cards depicting the new Servants, a 17” by 24” cloth poster, and a 3” by 4.5” acrylic diorama featuring Nero, Drake, and Scáthach.
