Acrobatics and Brutal Executions are Abound in the Trailer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider’s The Pillar DLC

Lara Croft finds herself battling against Trinity and the elements in the trailer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider’s latest DLC chapter.

Lara Croft’s latest adventure is current spilling over into a selection of DLC packs for Shadow of the Tomb Raider as the classic gaming icon does what she does best; performs dangerous acrobatic maneuvers in a desperate hunt for ancient relics.

The Pillar DLC pack sees Lara braving a vicious storm as she searches for the Shield of the Age-Maker. In order to retrieve this one-of-a-kind item, she must endure a brutal trial, scale mountain walls, and solve puzzles.

However, in classic Tomb Raider fashion, she is not the only one looking to claim the shield. The series’ villainous cult Trinity also wants to get their hands on the relic for their own nefarious needs. This leads Lara to another string of violent encounters where she must fight for her life in order to survive.

The trailer below shows The Pillar in action with sweeping scenery spanning from darkened caves and fire-lit tombs to the raw effects of a brutal storm as lightning streaks across the night sky.

The Pillar is available now and you can check what this chapter has in store for Lara via the trailer below. This is the second of seven DLC packs scheduled for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, following hot on the heels of the recently released The Forge.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is available now on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. You can pick up a copy of the full game via Amazon or tip your toe into the title’s offerings via its free trial.
